What was the best moment you had with your crush?

It was the beginning of sophomore year when I first laid eyes on Amy. She walked into our English class, her wavy brown hair bouncing as she laughed at something her friend said. I was instantly captivated by her warm smile and bright green eyes. When the teacher introduced her and assigned her the empty seat next to me, my heart leapt. This was my chance to get to know this gorgeous new girl!

We started chatting before class every day about assignments or random topics. One Friday, we were debating the best milkshake flavor (she was so wrong about mint chocolate chip!) when she suddenly asked if I wanted to continue our debate over milkshakes that weekend. I couldn't believe it - was this amazing girl asking me out on a date? I tried to play it cool even as my stomach did flips and happily agreed to what would be our first date.That Saturday at the diner, the conversation flowed easily. Amy told me about her passion for photography and her cute baby cousin she loved babysitting. As she talked, I was struck by how her whole face lit up when she was excited and how contagious her laughter was. Under the glowing neon lights, I realized with startling clarity that I was falling for this girl.When Amy reached across the table to intertwine her fingers with mine while shyly meeting my gaze, I knew I had found something special. The world around us faded away, and all I could focus on were her eyes peering into mine as we slowly leaned towards each other for our first magical kiss. In that moment, I was the happiest I'd ever been.
